Education is a tool to empower women students and prepare them to win over all the challenges in their lives. I am proud to state that Sakthi College of Arts and Science is the brain-child of our esteemed Chairman of the college, a visionary in the field of education. We, the faculty, staff and students of this institution work with the staunch belief that education alone is the effective medium of social transformation. We march ahead to accomplish the vision and mission of the college.
The college offers 10 Under-graduate, 09 Post-graduate and 07 M.Phil., Degree Programmes. The Diploma Course in “Yoga for Human Excellence” has been offered since 2012 with the approval of the Mother Teresa Women’s University, Kodaikanal. The student strength of the college has reached 1100 at present and we are blessed with 50 earnest and enthusiastic faculty. We take individual and holistic development of each student as our prime target. Along with the enriched curriculum, offered by the Parent University, we give importance to co-curricular and service-oriented activities.
